這首歌是Kate Taylor寫的, 用來描寫自己在19世紀初成立的麥克連McLean療養院的情況.
她的一位"病友"Susanna Kaysen就是暢銷自傳《Girl, Interrupted》的作者(95年出了中譯本),
這書於99年改編並拍成為美國電影, 由Winona Ryder及Angelina Jolie主演, 而改編之劇本亦有出書.
另外, 美國電影《A beautiful Mind》描述中的現實主角John Forbes Nash(1994年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主)
原來在未發表已完成的game theory前已經入住那裡.
原來他們二人同時入住那裡...
(在我看《Gracefully Insane: The Rise and Fall of America's Premier Mental Hospital》時, 又剛好在找《Girl, Interrupted》那書時, 巧合地又記起John Nash... 所以紀錄這些資料)

洞穴

拿著鏡子, 看進去, 那張臉, 有個洞,
眼內透進腦袋去, 終於看到那個黑洞, 感覺到它的存在.
跟它對話, 它告訴你它一直躲起來, 多年來偷偷地存在.
對話間, 它變大了, 愈來愈近, 大得蓋過所有,
自己也消失掉, 沒有感覺, 有趣是, 能感覺到失去感覺的滋味.
反正都要消逝, 為什麼不跟它交個朋友.

彎直曲

在白色mosaic磁磚地板上, 站著,
向遠處看, 沒有盡頭, 也看不到磁磚的邊際.
烈日當空, 但竟有點涼意, 跟在冷氣室內欣賞玻璃窗外的陽光感覺一樣
在影射著刺眼白光的磁磚上走, 累了就停下來,
一會, 再走, 開始有點困難, 就是一起步就不斷滑倒, 花了很多氣力.
原來都沒怎麼移動過, 慢慢地亦察覺到,
原來的白色平地, 變彎了.
像刻在籃球上的黑直線, 歪一點看, 本相就是變彎了.
我, 呆了好一陣子,
嘗試心中想著, 我只會滑著走, 不會倒下.
竟然原本的彎直磁磚路, 彷彿又變回平地, 每行一步, 都有快要倒下的感覺, 卻又極平穩地步行著, 感覺就傷殘人士乘坐上落樓梯的專用升降台一樣.

跟日文結伴的日子...

快一年, 感到的快樂, 都很直接, 像很難, 又似是容易.
第一張相, 窗前的一隻腳, 是同學的, 結識了些可愛的同學, 找個寧靜的地方溫習, 原來, 最直接的快樂, 最難得到.
下午茶是我在一天中最享受的時光, 誰想來找我一起過.
