她的一位"病友"Susanna Kaysen就是暢銷自傳《Girl, Interrupted》的作者(95年出了中譯本),
這書於99年改編並拍成為美國電影, 由Winona Ryder及Angelina Jolie主演, 而改編之劇本亦有出書.
另外, 美國電影《A beautiful Mind》描述中的現實主角John Forbes Nash(1994年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主)
